About Nicki
Nicki LaFoille grew up in the remote Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in a small town with a graduating high school class of 83 students, where she learned to appreciate the joys of nature. And good cell service. She attended college at Central Michigan University and received a degree in Apparel Design & Journalism.
After moving to Colorado, she worked as Associate Editor for Sew News, Sew it All and Creative Machine Embroidery magazines. Her time at the company included a guest appearance on the PBS TV show Sew it All and numerous teaching presentations at sewing conferences around the United States.
She is the wife to a wonderful man and mother of one daughter and one rat terrier. She writes in her spare time (ha ha) and travels with her mobile family, enjoying life and all of its abundance.
Her next book, a contemporary romance set in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, launches in 2020.
